Your data rights

Controller

Purpose Refined decides why and how the personal data below is used. Email hello@purposerefined.com for any request. What we actually hold is described in the privacy policy.

Lawful bases

  • Contract — to complete your purchase and deliver the product.
  • Legal obligation — to keep records required for tax and payment disputes.
  • Legitimate interests — to prevent fraud and to answer a message you send us. We do not use your data for marketing.

Your rights

You can ask us to:

  • confirm whether we hold personal data about you, and for a copy
  • correct data that is wrong
  • delete data we no longer need
  • restrict or object to processing, where the law allows it
  • receive data you provided, in a portable format, where the law requires it

We do not make automated decisions that produce legal effects about you. You can also withdraw any consent you have given. Checkout does not rely on consent, so withdrawing it does not cancel a completed purchase. Refunds follow the refunds policy.

How to use a right

Email hello@purposerefined.com from the address you used at checkout, and say what you are asking for. We reply within one month. We may ask you to confirm it is you before we release or delete anything.

Complaints

If you are in the UK, you can complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office at ico.org.uk. If you are in the EEA, you can complain to your local supervisory authority. Write to us first if you want us to resolve it directly.

International transfers

Card payments are processed by Stripe, which may transfer payment data outside the UK and the EEA. Those transfers are covered by Stripe’s safeguards, including its data processing terms.
